Introduction

How we operate

We are a community based, sessional Pre-School run as a charity (Reg. No. 273783) by a management committee of parents and carers. We have been based in the Old Grammar School, a grade II listed building in a rural setting, for over 30 years.

Learning and activities

Children explore a range of activities each day based on the six areas of learning outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. A typical session will include a craft activity, painting or drawing, sand or water play, a construction activity, dough or clay, "home corner" role play, jigsaw puzzles, singing and stories. Outdoor play may include scooters, sand, balls, hoops, gardening and construction.
